STIGMATA

Stigmata is a DJ night that I run with my girlfriend, Éabha. The night is catered to a queer alternative audience with a mixture of post punk, new wave, synth pop, disco and more.

We started Stigmata in The American Bar in Belfast, and more recently upstairs at The Sunflower. The set is a mixture of vinyl and digital, and we aim to keep growing our record collection and developing the set with every event.

We decided to start doing a DJ night because we felt there was a lack of alternative club nights by and for queer people based in Belfast, and heard this echoed by people around us as well, so why not try filling that gap ourselves?
