Hello! My name is Ailish and I live in Belfast, Ireland. I make music and am part of a band called Madrúa, influenced by post-punk and bands like The Fall, Joy Division, Black Midi, Depeche Mode, Radiohead etc. I also do some photography, filmmaking/videography/editing, and graphic design. I'm quite into fashion as well, especially alternative styles, and really enjoy collecting secondhand clothes.

I decided to make a website to share some of the stuff i make, but I also just love the look of the old web and the concept of making the whole site by hand. It's so fun to look at other people's sites and see how everyone customises things to their own tastes and interests, and there are so many amazing sites and resources to help build your own and share links and tips.

I live with my girlfriend, Éabha, who is a musician and a part of Madrúa too, as well as a solo artist. She's also an oil painter and a general visual and performance artist, with a super cool website you can check out HERE!
